The Friend of  West Springfield Park & Recreation (F.O.P.A.R.) is a group of community volunteers dedicated to assisting the West Springfield Park & Recreation Department in the development, maintenance, and operation of the department's programs and facilities, where needed, and to provide financial assistance for the development, and upgrading of recreational programs, equipment, and facilities that will continue to make West Springfield a friendly, safe, and fun place to enjoy both active and passive recreational activities.
