30TH ANNUAL “OPERATION SANTA” FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN BEGINS

The 30th Annual “Operation Santa/Santa’s House” fund raising has set this year’s goal at $20,000.00.

 

           “Operation Santa/Santa’s House” is a cooperative program organized by members of the West Springfield Parish Association & the West Springfield Park & Recreation Department. The program goals are simple; to insure that Town families in need receive a food basket and their children, ages 15 & younger, a holiday gift.

 

Last year over 200 food baskets were distributed to elderly & income eligible families, 380 children received a gift.

 

            In anticipation of making this a community wide effort, the West Springfield Record will publish weekly a list of donors & donations received, unless specifically stated otherwise.  If you wish to make a contribution, please complete the coupon below, and kindly forward any checks, made payable to “Operation Santa”, to the West Springfield Park & Recreation Department, 26 Central Street - Suite 19, West Springfield, MA 01089.
